Work continues in full swing on this latest social project.
The new elevators are being installed as well as the last fittings of the fire fighting system. The wall mounted granite tiles for the building’s facade have arrived and are laboriously installed.
Landscaping has also begun by back-filling the area previously excavated for basement construction.
The last of the reinforced concrete structure is will be concreted soon.
This reclamation project is ongoing. Zone A is the biggest of the new reclamation projects to be undertaken in the near future in Macau. A total of 5 new reclamation areas are to be built totaling 350 hectares.
Zone A has an area of roughly 138 hectares and a seawall with a total of 5600m, this is one of the largest reclamation projects undertaken in Macau in the last decade.
The future use of this project is to be used for mainly housing, commercial and social areas.

Pengest Internacional is providing engineering services and consultancy for the CN3 housing project. The CN3 project consists of 4 building blocks with 30 stories an several social areas (kindergarten, disabled association office and living area).
As the project was completed and the residents moved in, changes were required on the original design as well as correcting any small issues detected during the preliminary acceptance inspections. All the stakeholders were present at the inspections, GDI, Pengest Internacional, Contractor, Building Management and E&M consultants.
The final acceptance inspection will be carried out at the end of the week, during this last phase of the works, Pengest Internacional will continue to provide its clients with professional engineering services striving for excellency and their complete satisfaction, as we have always done in the past.
The Sai Van Bridge improvement works project is an integral part of the Macau Light Rail Transit, without the design improvements the new Macau LRT will not be able to cross from Taipa Island to the Macau Peninsula. The LRT train will traverse the bridge inside the bridge’s box girders, as can be seen in the photos below.
This project includes Civil em E&M works, mainly new fire service pipe and hydrants, new guardrails, emergency doors, stairs and vehicle exists. E&M works are main renewing and improving the ventilation, power, lighting, communication systems.
E1 zone reclamation project is underway. Pengest Internacional has stated providing supervision and consultancy services to the Macau Government – GDI – Infra-structure Development Bureau.
Situated in a mostly industrial area of Macau, it will create an additional 73 hectare plot of land. The project is scheduled for completion in 2 years.
